These music videos have become very popular on national television, and the DVD versions are now being used as follow-up study curriculum in Kenyan public high schools reaching more than 60,000 students. |
Social Media Reaching Out
Good News Productions, International was the first video production center of any type to produce and promote Christian music videos in Kenya. Since 2004 the staff at GNPI in Nairobi have assisted many talented artists to record their music and impact their peers. Life in urban Africa is changing at a torrid pace. The use of cell phones, the Internet, and social media have brought the world to Africa’s doorstep. Christian young people need to know how to cope with this change and that Christ can be found in the midst of such a dynamic society.
40 Music Videos Later
Video Loop I was the debut of this strategic vision of reaching young people during their formative years through music videos. Four years and forty videos later, Video Loop Iand now Video Loop II are impacting thousands of lives monthly in Kenya. These popular artists’ songs are airing on television, in department stores, and even on buses! 
Christian concerts are springing up and the Video Loop songs and their accompanying Bible study programs are used as curriculum in Kenyan schools. Not only Kenya, but now Uganda and Tanzania are using the Video Loop productions. Thousands of high school youth hear the songs and study from the Video Loop curriculum.
