Bob Sartoris and his wife, Jane, met and married while earning their degrees in Bible from Kentucky Christian College. He hails from Akron, Ohio and Jane from Huntingburg, Indiana. Bob has an additional major in mass media communications from the University of Akron in Ohio and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in film production from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The Sartoris’ have four daughters: Brenna, Ayla, Erin, and Shauna

Bob has had extensive experience in international television production, having traveled for the Rex Humbard World Outreach Ministry, then working for a time as an associate producer for the marketing department of CBS affiliate KDKA-TV2 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also did freelance production work for non-profit and religious organizations in Ohio. In 1993, Bob assisted GNPI for the first time on an international project in Thailand, which led to the invitation to join the team setting up the center in Nairobi.

Bob Sartoris joined Good News Productions, International in 1995 when the ministry’s regional center opened in Nairobi, Kenya. Serving as production manager during the first seven years of the ministry, Bob coordinated the purchase and installation of equipment for the center and then worked in training the Kenyan staff while producing over 30 video projects during that time. In 2003, he accepted the role of regional director for GNPI-Africa when Mike Schrage moved on to be the director for sub-Sahara Africa. 

In 2004, when GNPI planners began establishing a strategy that would both target the worldwide youth culture and harness the potential of the Internet, Bob’s training and experience made him the “right man for the right time.”  The Sartoris family has relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bob has assumed the responsibilities of Director for Strategic Initiatives.  Media Challenge is the first thrust of this tremendous strategy.  Bob has a vision for a great expansion of outreach for the kingdom, and that vision involves young people and the World Wide Web.
