Thanks be to God for the fast-growing spread of the gospel through the partnership of Good News Productions, International and Mid India Christian Mission. Churches using videos in a structured teaching program are growing by 40%. Hundreds of house churches are using them for their regular teaching and preaching programs.

In one area of India, a creative self-supporting evangelist installed a satellite receiving dish in his yard. He now has 60 homes around him that subscribe to his "network." He supplements what he chooses from programming via satellite with Christian videos produced by GNPI and Mid-India Christian Mission. He plays the videos on a VCR that is hooked up to his system. Some of the programming he receives via satellite is also produced by GNPI and Mid-India Christian Mission.

One Indian evangelist handed out a message on video to people in over 600 different homes. A young lady who was stricken with polio at an earlier age lived  in one of those homes. Because her wheelchair was beyond repair, she crawled on her hands and knees to give thanks for the video. She explained how she now follows the One True and Living God.

When asked about her wheelchair, she excitedly said that she had saved about half of what was needed, and as soon as she saved more, she would get one.

With some money that was available from the sale of a wheelchair that had belonged to Ziden and Helen Nutt's daughter Lynda, the other half of the amount was given to buy the motorized wheelchair.
