Chandigarh, India faclityIndia is a country of such vast cultural and language differences between regions that a second regional center was established there. In 2003, another Indian staff partnered with the North India Christian Mission in Chandigarh, India. Located in the northern Punjab region of India. this region shares a border with Pakistan, and many of the productions made at the Chandigarh center will be in the Punjabi language. Punjabi is common to the Sikhs and Hindus in that region of India and in the neighboring Kashmir region of Pakistan.

Deepak and Simmi Dingrah are both native to Punjab, India, and oversee the regional center in Chandigarh, India. Deepak, regional director, was raised in a Hindu family and Simmi’s family is Sikh. This makes them an ideal couple to lead this center in the Punjab region, which is predominantly Hindu and Sikh. Deepak gave his life to Christ after graduating from college.   Read More...

  • Please pray for Regional Director Deepak Dhingra as he continues to effectively reach his Punjabi community with the Word of God. Pray that the audiotapes (both music and teaching) being recorded will impact the hearts of those who listen.
  • Praise God for the local Christian leaders who gathered to meet with Deepak Dhingra, David Lall, and Rich Sheeley to evaluate what media tools are most needed to help reach and teach those in the Punjabi region.
