Benevolence or Evangelism
By Ziden Nutt on

The debate goes on! Is benevolent action social gospel? Or, is there a place for it in evangelism? A classic statement was made by Samuel Moffet, “There is nothing quite so crippling to evangelism and social action as to confuse them in definition or to separate them in practice.”

(Hebrews 11:4) God takes obedient acts of sacrificial love and weaves them into powerful testimonials for others to see and read. He did it in Old Testament times—and He is still doing it today.
