Worth It All

It was in a “closed country,” and we’ll use the alias name of Henry for the evangelist. Word had not been received from “Henry” for over three months. Finally, a letter arrived.

“Henry” had unknowingly walked through a restricted area and was put in prison. All prisoners were forced, at the crack of a whip, to hammer out small pieces of gravel from large boulders for 14-16 hours a day. The gravel would be used in concrete projects by the government.

“Henry” stated, “It was worth it all, because on that trip I got the Solar Audio-Visual pack from Good News Productions, International.” He continued, “I used to have 40 or 50 people come for preaching services, and baptisms were few. Now, I have between 500 and 600 people come, and baptisms are usually about 100.”

Programs in the local language had actually been produced with “Henry’s” able assistance by GNPI the previous year. The pack had been put together at GNPI, but paid for by a partner church. This is only one of many accounts. We now call them Solar Media Cases and you can make more happen by sponsoring a much needed solar media case as well.

What would you be willing to sacrifice to help spread the gospel in this unique way?

Re: Worth It All
Sacrifice......how casually we read that word. Your description of "Henry's" hammering out gravel for 3 months and considering it "all joy" touched my heart. This is true communication and I would like to support the solar communnication project. Thank you for reporting it so effectively.
