Snowballing on Planet Earth

It was probably the most natural thing to happen when children saw the first snow on planet earth—snowballs were made. Then a snowball rolled down a hill and the “snowball effect” became a reality.

Good News Productions, International has experienced the snowball effect many times. Most recently, Sergei Golovin used it to describe the science and apologetics ministry in which he and his family are involved in Eastern Europe.

The partners of GNPI sponsored the production of The Lesson (Urok in Russian) with Sergei. It ended up in Marx, Russia as part of required material in the public school curriculum. The outreach to public schools spread to another city in another direction. They recommended the seminars and materials to the educational supervisor in yet another city some 620 miles from Sergei’s hometown.

That city has eleven public high schools that responded extremely well to The Lesson and seminars. This all led to preaching “directly from the Bible.” Everyone received follow-up materials, and the materials were also placed in the library of the city department of education.

The school supervisor was so impressed with the whole approach that he recommended a presentation to the city mayor, and all materials were then placed in the City Hall library. A new media online ministry is now being planned in the capitol city of Kiev. Please keep the multi-faceted ministry of Dr. Sergei Golovin and his wife Olga in your prayers.
