Salvation has never been on sale at Wal-Mart. It cost the life of a man—the God-man—Jesus known at this time of year as “Immanuel” or “God with us!” What a gift!
This gift is the most simple; yet the most costly;
the most rural and yet the most global;
the most distant and yet the most real;
the most temporary (lived only 33 years) and yet the most eternal (Jesus is God giving eternal life to us).
