On September 26, 2009 typhoon Ketsana hit the country of the Philippines. During the days that followed nearly 300 lives would be lost and damages mounted into the hundreds of millions of dollars. Fortunately, Nenette Pacoli reported that her house and the GNPI studio were not affected. As the clean up continues weeks later, a growing need emerges of expanding the office in the Philippines. Why? Not because of flood damage, but of the impending “spiritual collateral losses.”
You see, over 500 episodes of Asin at Ilaw (Salt and Light) have been produced out of Nenette’s little studio. This cooperative production effort between the churches in the Philippines and Good News Productions, International has impacted thousands upon thousands of people with the Gospel in Manila and beyond.
In recent years Asia, as a whole, has been hit with a tsunami, two typhoons and four earthquakes. Lives have been lost and livelihoods destroyed. Should this not be motivation enough for us to move into action to expand the borders of Nenette’s outreach into the Philippines before the next national disaster strikes?
“Redeeming the time” has always been a passion at Good News Productions, International. Listen to Nenette share her vision for the new addition and how desperately they need to expand and reach out so that maybe another 500 episodes can be produced that will touch millions of lives before the next tragedy strikes.
It's time to take action!
